In 2019, I began to see the world through technicolor glasses.
I got caught up in the game of inventing color names inspired by Mauritian life.

Colors permeate our existence; flora, school uniforms, familiar animals, politics, pastries, everyday objects, the passage of time,
and childhood memories. 65 colors came to life in the form of a curious book called "Mots Kouler".
The name of this book is difficult to translate, as it is a wordplay in French and Mauritian Kreol "my colours" & "names of colours".
This book is an invitation to explore a landscape of colors that reflect who we are and what unites us as Mauritians.
